Cyndi's List is a well-known and trusted compiler of all kinds of links, sites, and data used to locate obituaries around the country.

One of the larger and more popular free obituary sites. Its list of affiliated newspapers is quite large and includes the Southtown Star and the Tribune. There may be a subscription charge for many record retrievals.
