Getting a Library Card
Any resident of the White Oak Library District may have a borrower’s card by completing the application form and furnishing two forms of identification. One form of ID must be a photo ID showing current residency and the other must verify that you are a resident of the District. Examples of acceptable documents are: a current Illinois driver's license or Illinois ID card, a voter's registration card, current lease contract, paycheck stub, and current utility bills. Until they are the age 18, individuals must have a parent or legal guardian furnish proof of residency. The applicant must be present when issuing card. A resident card is valid for three (3) years from month of issue. You may check your address to see if you are a resident in the White Oak Library District at the Will County Supervisor of Assessments website or the Will County Clerk website.
