Explore the drawings and paintings of artist Steven Robnett at a curator’s talk at the Illinois State Museum Lockport Gallery on Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. ISMLG Director Jim L. Zimmer will present “Focus On Steven Robnett,” providing an overview of how the artist uses human figures as narrative images that metaphorically expose the human condition. This ISMLG “Talk & Tour Program”—part of our continuing “Sunday Series”—is free and open to the public; reservations are not required though seating is limited. Steven Robnett is one of four artists featured in the current exhibition Focus 4: Four Solo Exhibitions on view thru October 5, 2012. Also included in the exhibition is the work of Illinois artists Don Seiden, Mario Trejo, and Rebecca Wolfram.
